I live within walking distance of a cheaper movie theater and I just forget because I rarely go to the movies. But this post has encouraged me to do just that—maybe not right now, because my budget is pretty tight. But maybe soon, and definitely in the future.
Enabled is the right word. Unfortunately, I don’t think much is going to change at Penn State nor college football culture. But there are places, like my workplace (which is like Penn State—just not as rabid about college football), that have already made changes to protect kids. I hope more colleges and universities are doing the same, instead of just trying to protect the bottom line.
Thx @emokidsloveme for the RT! So, context: there’s a new reality TV called The Glass House on ABC (debuted on Monday). Sound familiar? Big Brother? The main difference is that viewers choose what players will do. But it’s still got that voyeuristic bent that Big Brother has.
So, with this press release, CBS is trolling ABC. Hard. Hilarity ensues.
