C-Bench, University of Chicago, 1920s.

From 1903 to 1960 the C Bench was reserved for varsity athletes, and is now a common place for all students to sit between classes, or chalk up advertisements for their favorite club!

Flappers at the C-Bench! I love this! Now where are their cigarettes and liberal arts look of disdain?
